Anyone else bummed that the exciting (let's put something in the freezer) GOS whitey doe season starts on the Monday of the Thanksgiving weekend!? The day we need to pack up and head back for work the next day? For those of us with work schedules that only allow weekend trips this is one of my main trips of the season with 3 days of hunting.
I guess this means two days of scouting and shooting grouse and then bagging the doe on the Monday morning. The good thing about this scenario is that she is fresh when she arrives at the butcher later that day. :smile:
