Anyone hunted out of Tatogga lake

Has anyone based and hunted out of tatogga, wondering what moose hunting is like late Sept.

Only hunted sheep and goat in that area, beautiful country.

The klappan is just up the road. Very little vehicle access other than that

Flew out of tatogga lake back in the 90's. Went into metzantan lake. Great experience and a hell of a hunt.

Would probably be worth the effort to go. Resort has some nice wood-heated cabins and plenty of campsites. The Klappan road is just north of Tatogga. Take a boat up and hunt the lakes as well - some nice moose habitat on the west side of Kinaskan & the stretch of river between tatogga and kinaskan.

The bulls seem to stay high until the rut and go up high when it's over again. Beautiful country and great trout fishing too. Have fun.

If you can afford to fly into any of the off-highway lakes in the area, you will get a moose. Best moose country in the province around there in my opinion.
