Cougar Mount Back

Here are some pics of the cougar I shot Jan 28/11. I had Harley White and his side kick Regan do my mount. They did yet another fine job! And to boot, it only took 5 months to get it back!!! Hope you all like the pics! I addad a before pictue aswell for those who didnt see before..

the dead cat he is holding is a older solid Tom, redish tan hide ....roundish forehead/head, short neck and a short muzzle is a big away.... The mount appears to be a female

its very clear this cat has a scar or scratch on the muzzle/nose

The mount has the same scar on the muzzle/nose area as I am looking at it now. Mabey they could have used a larger form? I thought that too. I just thought the cat was all scrunched up in the tree and looked bigger because he was pissed off for getting chased for 5 hours.

Wow That looks great! How heavy is it in total with the rock? Did you bolt it to some studs?

That cat was a pig with a huge head, at least 180 lb . I think its eyes are open to wide, other than that its a great mount .Scott killed that cat around january & harly had it mounted by august ,that is some fast

That mount does't look right to me.Hide looks like a summer coat and the pose looks female.Missed the mark on that beautiful cat if you ask me.Congrats to the hunter the photo is fantastic.

I agree. Really nice looking mount, but it doesn't do that cat justice. He looks like such a fat mean tank when he's up in that tree. That's the exact mount and expression I would get.
