There are some there. Better off buying a tag than kicking yourself for not getting one.

Far and few between but they are there. Buddy missed a chance at one a couple of years back. He didn't have a tag.

I was at Loon Lake for the last week and a friend of mine seen one WT doe on the Brigade road,my brother had seen 5 or 6 WT deer out that way in early August,I never seen any and was out most mornings.
For the cost of a tag buy one and you have your bases covered.
Good Luck

they are there, you just gotta know the pockets in which they dwell. We got a 5x6 whitie a couple years back east of cache creek, and I have seen a fair amount of does in the area. Better to have the tag and fill it than kicking yourself for not spending a couple extra bucks.

There are whitetails in the thick areas around heart ridge. Never had a tag for them though. They are also around the hat creek area. I have seen more moose then whiteys in that area though. I know a few guys that get theirs in that area every year.

PG66 have you seen any more W.T.'s in the Pemberton area since then? I didn't think they had encroached this far yet, seems like there is no stopping them. Do they tend to push Muleys and Black tails out when they come in to a new area??
