I went to check my trail cam tonight and when I got there it was missing. I was a bit disappointed until i looked at the ground and saw it at the base of the tree it had been hanging on. At that time I had suspected a bear may have knocked it down. I confirmed this when I looked at the pictures.

They are kind of neat pictures , but he did it on the day I put in a new card so it spent the rest of the week inactive. I set it up again tonight so hopefully I am back in buisness.

Those are actually great shots. I am hoping to get a lot of pics this year as the season goes on.

Checked one of my cams today, found the exact same thing! Had pics of 2 different bears that messed with it, the second bear ripped it right off the tree!
Thankfully he didnt chew it!

Cool photos!!

We had our trail cam knocked down by a bull elk....he managed to rip the buckles off the strap and fling it about 10 feet...curious I guess? Got lots of photos of elk noses though.

Goes to show us how incredible their sense of smell is... Even weeks after we had one in the bush we had a curious bear checking it out... Brings a whole new meaning to securly putting away food when camping...

Get a bear box that bolts to the tree and you won't have any problems.

Had mine less than 2 weeks before a rat bear ripped it down and broke the brackets. Hang them higher and angle them down to "reduce" the odds of a bear messing with it.

I've found that when setting my camera up higher and angled down you get a lot of pictures where the animal walks right under the camera. This is a bear box for my Reconyx RC60. It bolts to the tree and is virtually unmovable.
