Well guys, on my way for a week of chasing deer in region 8. Forgot my magazine for my sako 85, in 260 remington in the truck at home. Anyone willing to sell, rent our lend one to a guy for a few days would be greatly appreciated. Its a shot in the dark but worth a try.

Just checked Grouse Rivers website and they have Sako 85 mags for $149.99 and Sako 85 finnlight mags for 179.99, wow not cheap! I would give them a call before taking the trip in to make sure they have them in stock.

You can still chamber. Just practice and it's do-able. (hint: use gravity). Certainly works well enough to NOT ruin a hunting trip.
Just hunted last week in Houston with an old timer who brought uses an antique single shot Savage.
I have a Tikka and did the same thing. Not sure if actions are different from Tikka to Sako, I think they are nearly the same.
I've hunted behind Summerland with good results.

Hm I have the same rifle SAKO 85 with the clip..however its in .338 win mag..

Will this clip work?? I could send it overnight by bus If it will work???
