So my wife put in for the cow draw and low and behold, she gets it. I usually hunt up north so i am not familiar with the area. I am not looking for somebody's hot spot but to be pointed in the right direction or road to get in to help her get her first moose. And yes, she will be the one shooting it. I normally wouldn't ask but it isn't where i know. Thanks.

We used to hunt the top of 7-11 on the border between 7-11/12. It was a long time ago but Frank lake is near where we went. Check the boundary, I just gave Frank because it is close to where we went and i remember the name!. We used to put in for 7-11 or 7-12. If i was to go back to 7-11 i would go there.

Try some spurs off the 100 road and also the A road that runs past Barton lake.

Go down bobtail forest rd. right at 37km. +/- 20 km is rd to right and one one goes straight. frank lk is right road. go straight another 8km. There will be a straight stretch for 2 km long it is a large pine flat. 7-11 ibegins in the pine flat. Hunt from here to 1100 rd which is very good. 1100 rd to pine flat is about 10km. past the 1100 is a y. The left rd goes to tatuk lk. The right road loops back to the tatuk lk rd if you stay left on all major intersections. The loop takes one hr. It is only good hunting 8 km past the 1100 due to overgrowth. It used to be good but now the moose have the land back. There is no shortage of moose here just hard to see them now. If you go towards tatuk there are very large useless landings, good luck.

I'm not trying to stir the pot but be careful. Half that zone is a provincial park, especially around some of the places mentioned. No where your going and know where your at. Always the possibility of not so friendly aboriginals in those parts as well.
