Just wanted to let people know that I picked up a product from AgriSupply in Kamloops which really helped my lab with her ear infection. It is called: Bio-Groom Ear-Care. It is an ear cleaner and the two active ingredients are Boric Acid, which is an antibacterial, and Salicylic Acid which is an antiseptic. This product dries the ear which is tough to do in a dog like a lab. I'm really happy with this product. Hopefully Pepper,(my lab)won't have any more ear problems. I hope this will help someone else who has had this problem with their pup.:)

My Jack Russell has the same problem with her ears, and the vet gave me some anti biotic drops fro her ears, and within a day they clear up. He also suggested that if i clean her ears with a mixture of 2 parts rubbing alcohol and one part vinegar once a month that it should help keep it from happening again. More common on floppy earred dogs I was told.. my 2 cents.. seems to work great.
