I don't live in the region 5 area but our group gets a moose draw every once and a while and we go for the odd deer hunt up there, been a few years since that though. Anyways, I thought you used to be able to take 2 bucks in region 5 as long as they were in different seasons, like 4-point season and any buck season? Or is my memory going already? Or maybe different region? Or is it perhaps still the same and I just really missed something in the regs...
