Was thinking of picking up a cow elk decoy to try out, have you guys or gals used them at all...how do you like...and the big one, how do they work for you.

used the cow moose last year got us 2 bulls sprayed it down with moose bomb worked like a hot dam should work on elk when there are love sick and stupid

They work when used at the right time.
Just need to be selective as to where and when you use them. Any area with more than moderate hunting pressure you can potentially put yourself in harms way for obvious reasons.
My experience is that they lose interest in it very quickly so be quick about your business if a bull decides to interact with it..

used one for years until the antlerless season started. one day and i will never carry it in the field again. Even on private property where i was the only one allowed to hunt people where looking at it through their scopes.
