I've always seen (and shot) bears around Lambly (bear) Lake on the Westside. OFf bear creek rod, go past the lake and look for FSR's going up your right. Drive slowly look for piles of poop and set up and use a distressed wabbit call. Works for me...

Head up glenrosa rd! around crystal mountain and bear creek as the name states, in any of those areas there are plenty.

Head to Stewart FSR (its above bear creek main) look at the backroad map book and you will see it. There is an off shoot fsr called Venturi Main which is just after a BC Rec site on Stewart Main. Venturi is covered in steep Southish facing slopes. Lots of berries and stumpage. Ive taken a bear there and have seen many more. Always late afternoon and evening. Thats been my experience. Go get em.

I don't know kelowna well but if you can find a dump there always seems to be lots of bears there. Probably best to go early in the morning.

Ugh, or town deer.

Look for them chowing down on rose hips right now. I saw many from Ollala to Keromeos last yr at the beginning of Sept. Don't need to look high right now.
Access might be an issue there.
