Those guys are giving us all a bad name. They should be identified and held accountable. Hard to do i know but damn do they deserve it.

You could post the pictures on Quads.ca and there may be viewers that will know the individuals involved. You could also post them on the closest ATV Club site.Responsible riders do not ride in such areas and do not condone those that do.

A few years ago I went on some rides with the QUADS.CA members. I quit going 'cause they wanted to ride up/down creeks and generally tear up everything they rode on. Those loosers in the pictures might even be members of the club. Needless to say, I wasn't very impressed with what I saw.

Quads.ca is not a club,it is a web site just as this is.Not all participants in this site are BCWF members or Fish and Game members.

great photos Dino, too bad about the a%%hats. hunting that early alpine is tricky, between fog and ATVs things go south pretty fast.

The alpine here has never seen a quad and very few people. There is an old burnt down cabin I found and its still has all the old artifacts. Something has to be done before the quaders find it.

its because the footprint that a motocross bike or quad can leave behind can easily last for over a hundred years. When your up that high plants and trees just dont grow back over a season, Its illegal for a reason. I ride MX,and quads but the alpine is off limits. They are clowns.

Post your pictures around the area, with red crosshairs on the individuals in the pictures along with a brief warning of there wrong doings. ;-)

in many areas it is the damage that is illegal not the act of passing over them and in others it is an offence just to pass over them.

How did you get to the spot? Hiked or used quad?

Nobody`s packing spare gas so there must be a road or trail near by,also looks like logging cut`s in the distance. Is it parkland up there? Looks like kids on the bikes, maybe a family unit .

Nice pics Dino, nice job hiking in, we all know the results of a little effort!

I just finished an alpine hike in opening weekened and witnessed wayyyyyyyy worse than any quad could do. Cattle stomped the living s**t out of the alpine. It was as if a rototiller went through and tore the living hell out of it all. Creeks full of piss, alpine stank like cow s**t, wolves feeding on dead cows....
I personally thing everybody should chill a little, 80% of the guys on here probably own quads and could probably eat a little crow.

Dirty Steve I here ya about the cattle thing and couldnt agree more. The area the quad pics were taken was in parkland and no cows can make it up the steep sidehills. Quads are not allowed in the park.
DR800 a quad can go 160 + km on a tank, I carry spare gas on my quad but have only used it once,I keep it for front end weight most dont need the extra fuel. There is a trail nearby that is extremly steep but stops well before the alpine. This is no family riding an easy trail. The cuts in the background are miles away and quite common to see from any alpine.
YZ champ, I ride blue too. I do take my quad there but stop and hike the rest because of the parkland boundry. I wish I took pics of the damage I think you all would agree with me on this one.

once the footprint has been started ..its the beginning to the end.... dont take to many trips over the original path to make a highway ...its a fin disaster if you ask me.... nice pics by the way .
