Hi guys,
I'm a fairly new hunter, no doe tag this year, coming from Langley. I got my first Whitetail up the Granby River a few years back. I was thinking of heading that way again, maybe Rock Creek. Got any suggestions? A five hour drive or less is prefered, I have a quad and camper.

I know... it's a typical question but I'd sure love to hear your thoughts, I'd be much abliged =)

I hate to ask this, but.. Are you serious with this question? Whitetail does were GOS (general open season) in 2010 and again in 2011. There is no more "doe draw" required. The season runs from oct 10 to 31. The area you previously hunted is a good one. There are lots of resident deer and there's a migration that way once the snow piles up at higher elevations. A hunting synopsis and a Backroads map book are valuable items. Even better would be the BC Hunting regulations smartphone app and a GPS with the BC Backroads Mapbook mini SD card.

Just be careful up the Granby because there are lots of muley does around.

Good advice, goatdancer. That applies in many areas around the province.
