Does anyone have a suggestion for clothing (pants) that dry quickly, don't make make paper bag noises through the bush, and aren't fricking camo, wool or rain gear. Does this exist?

Thanks.

For me that would be fleece clothing, it keeps you warm even when wet, dries very quick and is absolutely quiet.

The warmth isn't an issue, but this morning it was 23 deg C at about 9am, and my soft shells are too warm for it. I guess I could wear carhartts even though we all know COTTON KILLS, etc.

If you could find some decent wool pants that did not cost more than your rifle, that would be the way to go. Sadly, I gave my last pair away when I started into the camo craze/fad.

Go to winners(or the like) and buy a pair of mens wool dress pants. very light weight compaired to the average hunting wool pant. They come in all sorts of shades of grey and brown and cheap. you can always use a knife if it gets to hot in the day and buck the bottom 1/2 off voila instant shorts. use the left over leg bits for a great looking hat or something.

If you can get past camo , go to gorrilla surplus and get some old school mil surp cargo pants . I've got a pair , theyre quiet , light , mine are alittle big so I can layer up under them .

My guess would be a lightweight fleece for quiet and comfort. I have a pair of thin cotton cargo pants that are almost as quiet and dry extremely quickly. I picked them up at value village.

I've used wool dress pants from the Thrift Stores or Salvation Army for under $5 per pair..........roomy and comfortable and in any color you can imagine! Some neat solids...and some hideous plaids that work great in lieu of camo! If your ego allows you to shop used you'll probably score a good pair of warm weather hunting pants for cheap.
