Wow what a great 9/11 first whitetail buck down!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY HuntingBC.

well was a great moring to my 9/11 got into a clearing i have been scouting lots before in the spring time and me and a buddy went in there on the 10th and spotted a nice bull elk so we went back there this moring were there an hour and a half before sunrise and at about 45 min till sunrise we walked for an hour into the clearing where we seen the elk the day before,, no elk was spotted or responded, but just as the sun cme up i spotted this nice whitetail buck at about 50 yards away shot him free standing from about 100 yards the TIKKA T3 300. WIN MAG dropped him right there

this is my first whitetail buck ever he is a 5x4 with matching split brow tines :-D :-D i was so excited was hootin and hallerin so loud :) anyways here are 2 pics

i so agree with you bucks&trucks,, the one we spotted on the 10th was about 700 yards and on the move so we couldnt count how many be was but the rack looked like it went atleast half way down his back and could see the antlers shining in the sunlight, thats the 3rd elk i have seen in under 2 months in our kelowna area they are forsure moving in here and gettin more and more each season, i have seen other bull elk in pervious seasons but i know we are gettin more and more now
