started off walking into a cut block at first light hiked to the top of the cut to were my bro was sitting and he flushed out one doe and 4 bucks small 2 spike a massive 2 and a 4 x3 had him lined up but didnt shoot just had a feeling so we drove down the road to the next cut block parked the quads and walked to the top of the cut didnt see nothing it was around 730 and already bloody hot so we started back down and i caught something moving outta the gulley put up my rifle all i saw was rack he was on the move so i pulled he took 3 steps and dropped. Went back later that night to range it 307 and a texas heart shot to boot, good way to start the season.:-D

OMG...the HBC saints will be all over you like a fat kid on a loose smartie.....

You used your scope to determine your target, rather than binoculars.....:icon_frow

You took a texas heart shot rather than waiting for the perfect, perfectionist broadside....:icon_frow

You shot at 307 yards rather than using your laser range finder to confirm the distance and go onto your smart phone to confirm the ballistics calculator prior to pulling the trigger....:icon_frow

BAD, BAD, BAD Boy !!!!

Just kidding (I am joking, others are probably not):-D...That is a hell of a nice buck....

I guess you get credit for being honest, most sportsman don't admit so readily they just shot a deer up the ass.

Litzodd6
09-13-2011, 08:23 AM
Well it wasn't a true Texas heart shot in the left cheek missed all the guts took the heart out and went out the bottom of the chest
