Need to know where all the grouse are this year around kamloops i have a bad craving for some and havnt seen any yet please help a guy out lol

i think were all in the same boat, wet spring and cooler temps always means a poor grouse season on the island. we have seen a few but i dont think it will be a good season.

They all migrated from Kamloops to Merritt. :) Seen lot of grouse around Merritt and up Helmer Lake area.

Was riding for a week around Lundbom Lk. Merritt a few weeks back seen quite a few in the brush pocketts around Sugar Loaf

Went to helmer today and got 2 grouse and thats all we seen from 5 am to 3 pm hope it picks up as i love to hunt grouse

Went to jamieson this morning i bagged 8 grouse by 11 am 5 ruffies and 3 willow

Ruffies and willows are the same bird if I recall correctly. Hope you made a mistake with your typing.

Went out again today and the pup put a total of 12 birds in the air. Only manages 2 myself my buddy got one, we both missed a couple and some didn't give us clean shots. I was surprised to see so many birds after the spring we had. So far I've taken 4 birds in 3 days.

Ive taken a total of 10 so far and yes i miss spelled 3 were spruce the light brown ones and five were the black and white and coocked a couple up tonight in honey garlic glaze and it was deadly
