Anybody hunt migratory in the east koots, or waterfowl of anykind?
And had any success

I hunt in the Creston Wildlife area but it is not open until Oct. 1

I'm going to try the Creston Wildlife Area this October. I'm also thinking of doing a float down the Moyie River to see if I can find some woodies.
Does anyone know why there's a closure on big stretch of the Kootenay River for Canada geese?

do not know why there is a goose closure, it sucks though, lots of geese like to hang out in the kootenay.
i have hunted quite a bit for ducks and geese and had very good success, this year is going to be pretty darn good for ducks seeing that i have me lab to help retrieve now!
