Hi Guys
Me and my body would like to go this weekend and maybe every weekend until our big hunting trip in October somewere near home in Region 2 for some grouse and mulie. We understand that is probably to earlier for Mulie so we want to focus on grouse but if any Mulie show then it's a bonus.
Will bring the trailler and pass the night there but we have to get back on Sunday so can't go that far.
Any sugestions for good grouse hunting in Region 2 or we should leaver earlier and go near Kamloops or 100 miles house?

Do a search. This has been discussed many times.

Grouse are everywhere in Region 2. Usually mid-afternoon sun brings them to FS Roads. :-)

Last year I spend a few weekends near Chilliwack at chipmunk creek and I think I saw only one.
Maybe wrong location or just no luck.

Not many grouse been seen I hear around Kamloops. Others might know different. Cool, wet and long spring might have impacted the breeding season big time.

Well we did go to the extreme. Actually I did and he just complain the entire trip because he has to spend a day driving and just few hours driving.
We did go to Mcbride in region 7-3.
Tons of bears but no grouse or Elk or Moose or even deers.
We shut a bear and got at less 5 that cross our path.
Lot's of Elk shit on the ground but we did not see any. Locals said that is to warm now for them.
Maybe will try again later in October
