My partner just backed out on me last minute for a weeklong backpack hunt we had planned. Figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone else was in a similar boat and looking for someone to go with.
We had an area in mind, with hope of finding a good ram. I have a griz draw as well. One catch is that its a rather long hike in from the pick-up. Could be upwards of 10miles.
I'm a younger guy, 28, somewhat experienced in mountain hunting, (been on roughly 6 backpack hunts), like to travel light and put in a good day every day.
I'm open to a meeting someone new who'd like to spend a week up in the northern rockies with me. Sorry, no offence intended, but if your not familiar with hunting out of a backpack for 5+ days at a time this may not be the hunt for you.
Looking to leave this Friday after work, the 9th and be home by Sunday the 18th. All travel expenses shared 50/50.
