Does anyone know of a game cutter in these areas. My usual place is out in Pitt Meadows and I don't want to drive all the way out there since I will be hunting in 2-11.

If I do have to transport it for several hours (and breakdown camp) quarter the deer and put ice around it?

Thanks,

I'm afraid I don't know of any. I have heard that Steve @ the copper cup deli will make sausage and mince for you.

Tried for that but got no response for a few days; he must be out hunting...

I would try doing it myself but my wife would probably not appreciate me carving it up in our living room. In terms of preserving a deer until getting it to a shop I assume skin dress it, skin it, put it in a game bag and stick a bunch of sealed ice bags around it? Let me know if I am missing something.

This guy will do it but he is pricey. My buddy paid $250 for a black tail to get butchered last fall.

Also you can transport deer for a long time before you have to worry about it spoiling. Skin it and gut it and you are fine to get back home.

If it is quartered you can do on a kitchen counter without to much fuss.

I'm back, if you didn't get the list try one more time.
