A buddy of mine lives in Lumby and he has asked me to go visit him. He is new to the area and doesnt know where to go hunting (he doesnt hunt, but will come along with me), any suggestions as to where a decent starting point would be?

thanks,

Hi, I live in Lumby. Lots of deer and lots of hunters!! Grab yourself a map book and check out any of the big forestry roads, Harris, Suger, Mabel, King Eddy....there are hundreds of smaller roads going off of these. Getting out of your truck for a walk will put you into lots of terrain. Just be carefull, especially on the weeksend.

Great area for whitetale in the fields. Get up in the mountains around echo lake got some good mules in there. Check the map as it is a provincial park around echo. I go up every year for whitetale. Can't make it this year. Seen moose, bear, deer up around sugar lake. One of my fav spots to go. Lots of forestry roads.
