Except for this one little glitch..the trip was great. We brought back one elk, had the grizzlies berry munching in the area, took some good photo's, told some great stories around the fire and saw the sunrise in the mnts every morning....well...almost every morning

How'd you guys get it back off the gravel bar? Unload it and push or winch it? LR

Wello, first I was just going to use the 48" jack-all to lift the back end and push it forward.....but wait..I left it at home :( So, it was unload half the gear, use a tree or two for leverage and three strong men shifted it over to the running water on the left. I'm actually pointed 180 degrees from where I was headed. I was running down river when I realized I couldn't make the hard right and then a hard left..followed by another 90 degree hard right to get back in the main stream. It was the gravel bar or the rock wall....I got waders :)
