Anyone got any reports?

Bamfield has been slooooow today, slower than ever experienced. We are wondering about further up the inlet?

Thanks

I just talked to a buddy who is fishing out by the Bamfield wall and Wittlestone. He says they have had lots of fish today but nothing big. Released lots of 8lb'ers and 13 is the biggest so far today for him.

You shoulda tried to look up Willy... He's been slaying fish out there... Lots of 20+ and 30+ fish. :) I know China Creek was pretty hot a few days ago from reports from another friend.

Fish tight to shore, just through Robbers Passage on the right side when motoring from Bamfield. 40 ft on the rigger in 50 - 60ft of water 2.5 mph on the gps.

you do that if you want to catch springs as well. ALOT of the springs in bam and the inlet have been in the upper 50 feet for the last few weeks, tolling 2-3.5mph

At it again. From talking to others and radio chat , seemed like a pretty slow day for most. Last weekend was on fire, I have a good feeling about today:)

Its a known fact that the fishing is always better one week before and one week after the salmon derby. Don't know why but that seems to be the way it works.

Sorry, make that on the left side of Robbers Passage, mortoring from Bamfield. Did very well there last week, esspecially on the afternoon slack. If not good there try Diplock Islan
d and fish well into the eastern bay. Again tight to shore, in 65ft of water or less

last week my dad and his friends were out and the 6 of them all got their limits of spring and coho by 10am, this week nobody got their limit all day. amazing what a few days and some warmer weather can do.

We ended yesterday with a few fish and this morning landed 3 salmon within about 15 minutes. Nice end to the weekend!! :)
