Moose in 7-24

Hello everyone,

My roommate and I drew a bull moose in 7-24 and we have never had any luck in the area. I grew up hunting the bushes of Vancouver Island where you can't see more than 50 feet. Needless to say this is a whole new set of tactics for me. I've been out scouting a few times. Found one spot looks ok. A couple rubs near a small lake, but not much in the way of fresh droppings.

Any one have any tips?

Thanks! My roommate and I have been practicing. What about terrain? I've heard that dense bush around lakes is the place to be. Is there any truth to this?

Quadrakid. Just realized you are from Quadra Island! I spent alot of time hunting there with my grandpa. One of my favorite places to hunt!
