Elk rubs

Found numerous Elk rubs in one area. In your experience would this be a good place to hunt on opening day? Bugle or cow talk? Some other sign but not a lot.

Both...start with cow calls, then the occassional bullbugle...A crappy one, like you are a smaller bull just trying out the pipes for the first time.... Good luck,,

Thanks for the info. I am real good at the crappy bugle. I have been practising it for months. just wondered if the bull would still be in the area, or if may have headed out in search of a little lovin.

Bugle to find out where the bull is and then cow chirp to bring it in.
