I've seen it every year at Predator Ridge. I'm sure it's common outside if urban areas too, but predators are likely to cut the number of surviving fawns down as the days go by.

it happens but its rare for all 3 to make the first year. Found these stats from one study online for whitetail: Older does average almost two fawns - 67 percent have twins, 21 percent have single fawns and 12 percent have triplets. This means that about 140 fawns are born for every 100 does in the population.

Look at the one on the right; it looks as though it's on its way out (skin and bone compared to the other 2).

That is to cue with the one drinking out of the bird feeder. Drop apples and the deer still have spots on them?

The apples aren't ready to drop but sometimes they just seem to "fall" off the tree cause the deer like them!!!
