Just got my buddies blacktail scored that I mounted for him, made the book it scored 139.

I don't think so, I think G1's are brow tines, i think the main beam is something else, not even a G

Very nice BT those clean 4 x 4's with long brows are hard to come by in this species. Nice buck congratulations to the hunter.

I'm pretty sure they do score the brow tines why wouldn't they?

Ya they score them but a lot of people on this site don't count them as a point. I don't get it.

More to do with the regulations on hunting them as to 'what' defines a point....

Everything gets counted when tallying the score.
More important though for book entry hopefuls, is what gets deducted for not being there (unevenness from one side to the other). Many nice looking bucks gross out great but fail because of what they netted.
