These Princeton stories are killing me.
I just came back from 3 hard days archery hunting Princeton.
I had myself convinced that all the deer had hunkered down because of the smoke.

In the 3 days total, I saw 5 mulie does, 4 wt does, and 1 bear.
I tried everything. Pounded bush, went for evening drives, and sat in spots.

The smoke from the fire was really bad. Yesterday evening was weird. The winds kicked up and got hot. It felt like the fire was going to come over the ridge.

Drive between Whipsaw Creek and Princeton on the main highway 3 you'll see elk beside the highway in the open spots and fields, I don't know if it's open there tho ( check regs) but there nice to see or Otter Creek road has a smxll herd of elk in MU 8:5. MU 8:9; an elk herd behind Naramata for hike ins up Okanagan Mountain The Chute Lake road provides best access to this elk range. Travis see we take care of ya, That should keep you busier than a one legged soccer player! Jelly Roll
