we flew in to a lake that shall remain nameless on the 31st. me and my uncle got a double header on aug 2nd. and the we hunted around for few more days and on the 9th i spoted a band of rams. so we hiked the 8 km to the sheep. the ol lady made a 306 yard shot and the sheep took 3 steps tiped over. and no it was not a guided hunt. but my dad and uncle were ex guides in the 90es and they have loke 20 years experence between them.

Howdy, it seems there have been quite a few beautiful rams taken and shown on the site this year so far and it is still early.
They even look better when the hunter is smiling -sort of showing appreciation for hard work and a beautiful animal and now it is over until next year and they can relax.LOL
Congrats on a real nice trophy and the great smile. Later

I guess a congrats is in order for you and your uncle as well, a triple header (wouldn't be a bad thing if those rams showed up on here too ;)...for us less fortunate who didn't get to the sheep hills this year )

Might not have had the energy left to smile after those sheep and goat hunts.Ha! Again congratulations to all the successful people on these hunts-I know what it takes to make it a success. Later

no the caribou were not open till the 15th and we left on the 13th. but it would have been a nice one to get 300 yards from base camp. and i got 20 yards from him.

Agree ......Nice to see the respect for the animal taken......no guns in the photo, and in the case of men in the photo / hats off.......you've just taken the only thing the animal had, so act accordingly..........Congrats to your wife, and enjoyed your photos....thanks.
