2011 Stone's Sheep

Made it back last week from this years Stone's Sheep hunt with my second ram.

I shot him with "Ol Faithful," my Browning 7RM @ 380yds.

37.5" 8yr old.

Nice ram and beautiful picture of him, he stayed nice and clean or you did a good job cleaning it up. It looks great .It looks like a good season so far for HBC stone ram pictures. Congratulations on a nice ram.

Not much of a story...your typical sheep hunt...lots of hiking, glassing, minimal food, wind, rain, snow etc. etc.!!

Put a stock on a nice ram one day but could only get to within 580 yds or so, down hill with a nasty crosswind - I wasn't comfortable with the shot! We waited and saw the same band (90% sure) the next day and got within 380 yds and let a 162 Hornady BTSP loose and there you are, sunny times!

I'm not convinced that ram is even dead!! Great field pic with no blood at all! Not that easy to do in my experience.
