I'm going to be in the Vancouver and Richmond areas for a couple days next week and thought I would like to visit some archery / hunting stores there if I can. I rarely get to the mainland so don't really know where to go. Where would you go if you had only 4 or 5 hours and some money in your pocket?

I don't deal with them, I deal with 'Big Game Archery' in Abbotsford, but if you're in the Vancouver/Richmond area, it's not too far to Westminster and 'Boorman Archery'. They have a sizable, well stocked store, and knowledgeable staff.

ditto for Boormans. if you look the address up online, its wrong-but only by one number. They moved right next door! easy access too. lots of parking around.

There's Reliable, Italian Sporting Goods, Lever Arms, International Shooting Supplies, Wanstalls, Wholesale Sports all in the GVRD area, mostly hunting/gun stores though

I'd say its worth the extra time to drive out to Abbotsford and visit Biggame Archery.

Thanks for posting the hours, Stephane, and you're right..I have seen someone that works Archery at WSS, getting some work done there, and buying a few things.
btw.., did you ever get the new limbs for your bow?

Yes, I got them in July, but now I need a new string. Do you know any good place to have it replaced? ;)

ayup! Wayne just put on a Winner's Choice string for me, replacing the cheap PSE stock string. No more peep tubing!
