Bamfield car thief

Hello everyone,

For those of you that have heard about the vehicles being stolen in Bamfield over the last few years. They caught the yanker the other evening. He is being charged with 20 counts so far.

Hopefully this will be the end of the theft and vandalism.

Great news! That PRIC made for some major grieff for MANY innocent people......from what I hear out there he's probably not going to want to be free from the cops anytime soon............I'll feel safe leaving my boat trailer there now!

Biggest problem is how much life did he take off the top of everything else? There is truth in the old saying "drive it like you stole it". You know it wasn't a gentle ride. Especially out there.

i lost my chainsaw a few years ago, it turned up at the bmsc, where he works/worked. could not get it back, but i did confront him about it in front of a vehicle with a ignition broken and the back window broken out. it was funny, we where standing with a cop . talking about the car thief's when i brought up the chain saw, hope it helped the cops.

So this guy probably does have my chainsaw then.... lol... I will call the RCMP and see if they found it. They already have all my serial #'s and stuff.

received a call from portalberni 2 weeks ago. parol officer wanting to know the impact mr zoett caused when stole my truck.has pleeded quilty. sentincing on jan 17.icbc wrote my truck off.i bought it back and fixed it up.new computer.i sure would like to get my property that was in my truck back specialy my wedding ring.

well just so you all know he was being harassed for years by people in banfeild and the new boss at the marine station. he wasnt him self just so you know who in there right mind would do this just think about it. mental illness does real shitty things to your mind. so remember he wasnt like this it all started when he was have problems with he family ie son his ex wife if you new her you wouldnt be the same. so just think who in there right mind would steal and joy ride autos and throw most of the stuff along the logging roads they arent not sane.

I'm puzzled....why is it that many think if someone has a rough time, or poor family life, that they should be exonerated, pitied, or excused from personal responsibilities and anti-social activities such as theft, vandalism, and drugs? There are many, many people that have had an extremely tough time of it that are good, productive, and responsible citizens. I do firmly believe though, that if someone simply is unable to cope, there should be help available for them.

yep i have to aggree with you in part, calling the guy down, yes this is a hunting site.
But apparently this guy was not getting helped out side, and he is a long time criminal. Send him away for a decent chunk of time and to a place that will help him if he needs it. They have Jails for this type of criminal, if they are sick they dont get sent to "Gen Pop". Or at least my uncle didnt.

Ah no, I am a hard working tax paying citizen that is really pissed of with dicks like him stealing from hard working innocent folks. I've had my vehicle violated by some ass, probably just like him, and I would have LOVED to catch that thieving prick in the act.

Everyone puts up with a certain amount of crap at their job. Your brother is a grown assed man that had the option to quit and go to labour relations if it was really that bad. Where I do agree with you that this is a hunting site, there are some here that were directly affected by his actions and have every right to be pissed about his wrong doings as well as that joke of a sentance that was handed to him. I'm not about to trashtalk someone I don't know but you have to expect there to be some animosity towards your brother as he DID get away with it for a long time and he DID negatively affect alot of innocent peoples lives.
