Nice bucks, now you need to find out where they hang during shooting hours. Good luck.

The question is, even if you don't build a stand there, will the bucks be around when you try to hunt that spot in a couple weeks or month or two? If the area is not heavily used by people I would possibly setup some sort of stand in the area, then leave the cam up for a few days. If they keep coming back - great, if not then you have a great stand for next early season. Good idea either way, that my two bits.

i was in the same boat as u last year... but i ended up building a blind 40 yards from the trail... just to make sure my scent didnt ruin everything.. then i tossed some cracked corn...after 3 days i had even more deer come in haha... i ended up getting a nice 5x5 with my bow... but it wasnt the 2 that i was hoping for!... oh well... maybe this year?

I'm thinking the ground blind might be my best option

Too bad they're not real deer---just whitetails. LOL (But they do look kinda big for whitetails)

I recognize that spot. They only hang around there during the off season:wink:

I'd build a blind, they'll shy away from it but should be fine after a week or two. The longer it sits the better, I'd wanna leave it for two weeks. Mature bucks after all aren't old for being dumb

I cant wait to check the next batch of photos......maby switch it to video for a week or so?? Im definatly going to build a blind, to risky to start a project like that this close to sept in my new little hang out

You might want to put up one of those portable blinds , set up is easy and quiet and they can be spiked to the ground to keep it there. Once the deer are comfortable around that you could replace it with something more permanent. That way if your pictures drop off you can take it away. It would be a simple way to see if a blind affects your area or not.
