I really like using the camera in video mode because you get a much better feel for what the animals are up to when they are there. You can tell which direction they came in from and which direction they left by. This bull comes through fairly regularly but he is definetly on his way to somewhere else. Unlike the immature bull that hangs around this spot with his sister, the big boy just wanders through and doesn't even slow down.

As for batteries, I picked the UWAY camera because it boasted very good battery life. I'll let you know how many videos I get out of one set but so far it's about 50, 30 second videos and the battery meter still says full.

Having said all that, this camera is very close to my house so I can check on it regularly. I have another that is in a scouting spot that I will only see every couple of months so it is set to take photos only. From what I've seen, the UWAY set on video mode will probably out do the other one set on photo mode.
