Black bears everywhere.

Tagged out in black bears in two days. Yesterday we went out in the afternoon to try score on and archery deer. Saw a total of 15 deer, two which were bucks. The first one should have been in the truck, but for some reason my release wasn't done up and when I went to draw on him at 36 yards my release started to come off. (early season jitters) Over the course of the next 5 hours we saw 13 bears, one of which fell prey to my 30-06. He was a nice 6' with 2 white spots on his chest. The day before had shot a nice blackie that is going into pepparoni. Going to head out again in a bit once it cools down. Too damn hot here today. 31 degrees at 3PM.

lots of bear eh..i was out in are boat yesterday and i saw a bear walking alon the highway.. it was probably 400-500 pounds.

I have been out poking around north of PG lots in the last couple of weeks and I haven't found a lot of anything. At least the leaves are starting to go now.

Good on ya Chris. I saw a real beauty black a couple days ago. Had I been a bear hunter, he would have been put to an early death.
I'm agreeing with Schmaus^^^ it's been real dead around here lately. Not a whole lot of anything showing.
