they usually sell for a pretty penny. I know that one Taxidermist pays about $1000 for a cape and if it is a life-size that is cut from the back they can fetch up around the $3000 mark.

This thread has prompted me to ask a question that I've been meaning to ask for a while: Can anyone point me to some good resources for proper caping / life-size procedures? I have a basic idea and have managed not to screw anything up to bad yet, but I've no doubt there's lots more to learn. The thought of putting a Booner on the ground and then Sh*#ing the bed is troubling.

Any help you caggy old vets could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Wow that is a heck of a price. If I were to drop a sheep this year someone might actually buy the pelt for 2500? That is tanned I'm assuming?

If so what does it cost to tan? Is it worth it to get done to sell or what?

Sorry for my newbie questions, never got a sheep before.
