Elk Hunting around Jaffray

Hello all, a couple of buddies and I are going to try bow hunting elk this year. I have not been hunting in the kootneys in about 20 years. Was wondering if anyone has any info on where to camp around Jaffray. Have a 30 foot travel trailer, just looking for info as to where we can get in easily. Thanks.

Roads are pretty good around here this year, should be fine almost anywhere you want to go. Elk are all high and will be in bow season seeing as its gonna be hot as hell. They're gonna be quiet too... Have been bow season during the last few years. Good luck, see you out there!

englishmen bay or gold creek are 2 nice spots that your trailer will fit in nicely. They are on the west side of the lake I believe. Say hi to an old timer named Ron at englishmen bay, hes got some great stories.
