I live in Kelowna and am wanting to do some river fishing for salmon. I have been told to go to Kamloops, but I was wondering if there was any other places to try?

try finding spots between Aggasi bridge and hope, or bring a boat with a good anchor and you will find way less crowded spots and the fish are a lot fresher down there

There is a recreational sockeye opening this weekend on lower fraser....if you like crowds, but could be lots of fish!! 3 days only to fill your freezer!!

I would either try Hope or go to the vedder/chilliwack later in the year for pinks. I heard last year was great fishing on the south thompson as well.
