There is no closed season and no bag limit for wolf hunting in Management Units 5-1 to 5-6 and 5-12 to 5-15.
There is no closed season for wolf trapping in Management Units 5-1 to 5-6 and 5-12 to 5-14; restricted to private land only and modified leg-hold traps only from April 1 to October 14.. i dont see a problem . was put into place due to pressure from ranchers, there for restricted to their land in essence. where is the problem ?

where is the scientific data that will show the government that there is an out of control humanitarian population that should be controlled by a GOS and NBL?

Sorry for pulling up an old thread but I gotta say, first thing I did when I signed up was search my name....low and behold this is what I found.

Thanks for the kind words gents, dunno why it took me so long to find this place!

I was out for the bow season opener here in 5-2 today, I saw one doe and a pack of 5 wolves on some ranchland near 100 Mile House. If I would have had my rifle I could have had the pick of them, and maybe even a double or triple as they were in the open field for so long. There's a LOT of wolves up here.
