They said they saw a 6x6 around this group. The guy knows his deer so I don't doubt him. I'm staying over Sept 9th.

I believe that is the same group I saw a couple weeks ago. And yup there was a 6 point in the mix. He might go 160 NT by the time he's done.

I've been out as much as possible up here, looking for the Bucks all hanging out together, but so far, nothing! I've seen lots of smaller bucks, but there with the Does and Fawns, so they must be the bucks from last year, and there still clinging to Mumma! This weekend there's a bunch of guys coming up to hunt, but it's been so hot the Deer are moving at night, but we'll put our time, see if we can find a few decent 4 points to start the Cold Room I built this winter off right! Good Luck to All! And, I think what we may do is, once we have the Deer all cleaned and washed up, is cover him in bags of ice for half a day, get the insides cold, dry him off then hang him in my cold room. I can get it down to about 61 degree's, so hopefully that should be good for a few days, then we'll butcher him!

Put one of those portable air conditioners in your cold room and get the temp down to below 40. Put frozen ice pacs or frozen 2 litre pop bottles on him.

I saw this guy a few nights ago while scouting. I don't think he's going to make it through the weekend.
