Ive found small olive sedge pupas work quite well, as do small golden stones-well weighted. cant go wrong with a natural muddler either

single egg ties are killer in that river almost a fish on every cast!

Does this depend on spawning salmon?

Nope I use it allways. Get it close to the bottom for best outcome.

try it also in the Fraser River too find the fish and you will be slaying them all day.

any prefrence to size? Tied with yarn or that artificial stuff? Red?

pink yarn cut to the size of your pinky nail on a hook. When in the water it will fan out to look like a single egg floating in the current. Fish the faster water for better hits. The water might be still a bit hight but give it a shot. I never get skunked on the Vedder. I always find at least one fishy

Red is also a good choice

Is the vedder crowded yet or are people waiting a couple weeks to give the salmon fishing a go?

I was on the veddar today. Not to many people yet. I was using pink fuzz but got nothing. Last year pink wool worked great
