I recently moved to Langley from the Island and need to meet someone who can help me put together a new string for my Checkmate TD Hunter. I swapped limbs for a bit and now I cant find my string. I hunt with my compound but now that we have acerage I would like to start shooting it again. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers- Jason

People at Big Game are very knowledgeable and happy to help. Family run and just off the highway at the Sumas exit.

If Wayne can't help you - and any of our archery sponsors like Hardcore - try World's Best Strings at http://www.worldsbeststrings.com/index.html

Wayne has installed Winner's Choice strings on my old bow, and he has ordered same for my new bow. http://www.winnerschoicestrings.com/

Whoever you get to do your string - make sure that they are pre-stretched with a load of at least 300+ pounds.

The bow I need to re-string is a 62" 55lb Yew limb recurve. Your links appear to be for compounds, which I am probably due for as well.

Forget about that 300 b pre-stretch then.....

A nice Flemish twist will do you just fine.
