Bamfield

Well we finally got into Bamfield yesterday and got out for a full day today. Fished the inside as it was to foggy to get out to Kirby or 7 mile. Hooked four springs and landed two. 26 and a 18 lb. Lifes good....

Had a great second day fishing the outside wall. Right from the get go we decided to try the wall and no sooner did we set our lines we had two hits in the first 100 ft. My buddy lost his and I landed a jack coho. Back he went, reset our lines and trolled further down. Trolled the shore line and was no more than 10 - 25 feet from shore and you in were in 50 - 80 feet of water. Fish were all in the 50 ft mark and nalled 2 springs and 4 coho apiece in three hours. One of the cohoes was a brute weighing in at 17 lbs and the springs were allbetween 18 and 28 lbs. Heading home tomorrow as we limited out and will post some pics as I forgot the camera but I did remember to pack the charger.
