All Most Packed And Ready To Head Into The Bush.

I have been packing things for the last week and almost have everything packed I will be headed into the bush next week for the entire hunting season will come out now and then for a shower to get more food and check the mail and give an update on my trail cam thread...:-D :-D..

My days in camp will be scouting checking trail cams putting out more feed and salt ,practicing every day with my bow and putting the camp together the way I want it to be :-D :-D ...

On my other thread its all about a 270+ elk in the archery season or a 340+ bull elk in the rifle season..

This bull I would take in archery season he is the right one he will score around the 260 mark..

Right on Wayne, man it wasn't long ago you were saying only 30-something days til you head to the bush, time flew by. Camp looks as nice as its ever been and you have more knowledge than you've ever had, all you need now is for those mossback bulls to start coming out of the woodwork. You know where all the cows are so its just a matter of time till they show up to do their thing! Hold out for a good one and stay safe good friend.

You got this right fill my goals its going to be very hard to accomplish this goal being a selective hunter makes thing a way more harder to fill my dream ,I never have ever been a selective hunter till last year I always shot the first legal bull elk I saw.

Man you sure got to discipline yourself when a bull walks out and it is legal and you say no this is not the one I had to bit my mind 4 times last year on doing this pass up thing ,I will be more use to it now that I have had a year under my belt.
but I will tell you something I will have a hell of a good time trying..

Yes you are right about safe the one thing that I get worried about is them dam grizzly bears its getting bad in the region I hunt there seams to be more and more every year ,I really got to be aware of my surroundings when I am by myself in the bush ,the last few years I am getting real jumpy the smallest noise puts me on alert is it a bear ??? :roll:.

Hey Wayne looking forward to reading your posts of your season and seeing more footage and trail cam shots. As I will be fulfilling my Elk season through your post. The wife and I won't be going back to elk camp this year as we just welcomed our newest elk hunting partner to our family.
