Woohooo Going Grouse Hunting

Well its 8:00 a.m on opening day of grouse hunting, I wasn't going to go out but I can't sleep anyway. I'm way too excited for just chickens but I love shooting the little guy's. I am going to test out my new ruger 10-22. Will let you know how it went in a couple of hours. Maybe even a pic or two.:lol: :lol: :lol:

Well i'm back, nothing too exciting. I didn't see that many grouse only 2 but the new 10-22 sure is a shooter. I got both of them.

I was out for about two and a half hours. I will probaly go out again tonight when my girlfriend gets off work.

sweet. i didn't realise grouse opened today. maybe i'll go for a drive tomorrow morning and look for a few chickens to bbq tomorrow night.

Two down here as well!! I jumped a covey of about 7 birds and by the time the dust settled I had two down and 6 shots off lol. Littel rusty on the wing action but I did manage the second one on the wing. The new 870 Wingmaster in 410 sure kicks ass! Good pic man. I totally forgot to get pics before I cleaned em. Next time. Keep dustin em up!!

Well I went out today to try out my new trike. (I have two of them now) Everything seems ready for the big game, got another couple of chickens.

Sweet. I'll be out past the swamp, ya know down the road near the creek, out east and west of town, looking for a deer tomorrow....lol.....definitely going to take the shotgun.
