Lake Of The Woods

I have never been to lake of the woods but am going to give it a shot. Hows the fishing?
If any body has tips for flies to use or what time of day is best or any advice I would really appreciate it.

Was there a few years ago. Did even have a bite. Tried quite a few different flies. Did however watch a bald eagle pluck a fish out of the water not 20' from me. Made the day totally worth it despite not catching anything.

a buddy of mine fishes there all the time. does really well on the fly. using small micro leeches.
pumpkin heads and stuff.
