River Fishing Southern Vancouver

Can anyone make recommendations as to where to river fish (from shore) with spinner or other bait recommendations? I hear Cowician River should be good, but where abouts do you go? any other thoughts? Again any and all tips are appreciated.

Cowichan is probably your best bet for this time of year now that things are warming up. Check the regulations closely cause theres about a half page of rules for it. Most of the parks like Skutz, Stoltz etc have good trails that access the shoreline up and downstream into some good water. Good rainbows and browns, more browns above skutz than below. I mostly fly fish so I'm not sure about lure choice but I'm sure many small spoons and spinners would work. Good luck.
