Haven't hiked it this year but looking out my living room window it looks like quite a bit of snow on the top 1/4. Hope you have a good hike

I have heard there is a washout on the road about 4 km from the parking lot. Great hike, made quite a bit longer!

We climbed Yak Peak instead, took the wrong route and only made it to the saddle beside the peak before running out of time, still an amazing view. Cheam another time.

yup. A few months ago there was a giant washout just beyond the double hairpin turn a few k's up. I'll try find a picture. the only way we could get past was by driving the quads in the ditch along the side.

We just tried hiking it last Friday and it was very icy with the trail very hard to find because of snow. We ended up turning around. Unless a lot has changed in. The last week I would not try without crampons and an ice-axe. We made
it up the road on the quads without any great issues. I think the washout has been dealt with but definitely would not try without 4 by.
