I have a smoker from princess auto--insulated- hot plate type burner, 110 volt. Temp control. Temp read out in door and control on smoke stack.
The problem is the temp. Control seized up and of coarse i destroyed it trying to fix it . I took the little gadjit down to the electronic store and the commercial guys. They just looked at it and said good luck. I did get an old hot plate and the temp control is very close.
My help question is: Did anybody have better luck than me finding parts or some kind of a fix?
Who better to ask than those of you who use one. Thanks for any good tips. Moose hide

This is the controller i use on mine. (http://cgproducts.johnsoncontrols.com/MET_PDF/125188.PDF)
easy to setup and has a temp probe so you know the temp inside

take it back and get a new one. My friend "fixed" a switch on his grinder from Princess Auto, still did not work they replaced it. Said they stand behind "NO sale final"

take it back, they have everything you buy on record and they will give you a new one no questions asked. I know a guy who would burn through 3 water pumps a year and he just brought them back year after year with no problems
